PURBA (1996), is a musical and theatre project from Moscow, Russia, formed by Svyatoslav Ponomarev.

The music is based upon the ancient sacral ceremonies of Bon tradition (pre-Buddhist religion of Tibet) and four schools of Tibetan Buddhism. The musician plays authentic Tibetan traditional instruments, uses overtone singing as well as drone, industrial, noise, electronic, and ritual performance.

In 1999 recorded 2 albums with Alexey Tegin (also in Phurpa, 2001) and Igor Yanchoglov (also in Lungta, 2000)
